《大學物理雙語課程解題指導書（第2版）》由北京郵電大學幾位物理教師編寫，他們在于2004年開始的北京郵電大學與英國倫敦大學瑪麗女王學院學士學位聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)項目中執(zhí)教大學物理雙語課程多年，具有豐富的教學經(jīng)驗。
大學物理雙語教學是大學物理課程現(xiàn)代化的一個改革方向，是高等教育與國際接軌的一項嘗試。國內(nèi)外的大學物理課程在廣度和深度方面不盡相同，這是由中西方的教學模式和理念均有很大的不同所致。為了與課程教學相適應，學生們在掌握物理學的基本理論基礎之上，還需要通過一定數(shù)量、一定難度的題目訓練，達到鞏固所學知識和提高運用能力的目的。由于受大多數(shù)英文原版教材的深度所限，題目的難度與中文教程的題目難度相比有所不足，因此有必要編寫一套涵蓋選擇、填空和計算的大學物理雙語教學習題指導教材，有效地補充解題指導這一教學環(huán)節(jié)，可以作為教師上習題課以及學生課后自習的參考教材。
《大學物理雙語課程解題指導書（第2版）》的第1版自出版以來，受到了廣大讀者的歡迎。本版對于部分章節(jié)進行了較大幅度的改寫，重新選擇了一定量的題目。
