《觀海文叢·華東師范大學(xué)外語(yǔ)學(xué)院學(xué)者文庫(kù):當(dāng)代美國(guó)編史性元小說(shuō)中的政治介入》以“編史性元小說(shuō)”這種典型的后現(xiàn)代主義文類為考察對(duì)象,從新歷史主義的批評(píng)視角出發(fā),深入探討美國(guó)晚期后現(xiàn)代主義文學(xué)中的政治轉(zhuǎn)向。文學(xué)與歷史、政治之間從來(lái)都是有著千絲萬(wàn)縷的關(guān)聯(lián),相互影響,彼此映射。政治事件,尤其是標(biāo)志性的政治事件,從來(lái)都是作家密切關(guān)注和力求書(shū)寫的對(duì)象。《觀海文叢·華東師范大學(xué)外語(yǔ)學(xué)院學(xué)者文庫(kù):當(dāng)代美國(guó)編史性元小說(shuō)中的政治介入》選取多克特羅的《但理以書(shū)》、庫(kù)弗的《火刑示眾》和德里羅的《天秤星座》為研究對(duì)象,將這三部最具代表性的“編史性元小說(shuō)”置入上世紀(jì)冷戰(zhàn)時(shí)期的“羅森堡間諜案”和“肯尼迪遇刺”這兩個(gè)事件的歷史背景和作家寫作當(dāng)時(shí)所處的政治氛圍中進(jìn)行解讀。在文本細(xì)讀的基礎(chǔ)上,《觀海文叢·華東師范大學(xué)外語(yǔ)學(xué)院學(xué)者文庫(kù):當(dāng)代美國(guó)編史性元小說(shuō)中的政治介入》考察了3部作品中重返歷史、書(shū)寫政治事件、介入現(xiàn)實(shí)政治生活等共同特征,揭示出當(dāng)代美國(guó)編史性元小說(shuō)并非“去政治”而是“介入政治”。
