全書分為4章、20個(gè)單元和21個(gè)閱讀材料。第1、2章分別綜合介紹測(cè)量與控制技術(shù)的背景、基本理論、基本技術(shù)概念及全貌;第3章較具體地介紹檢測(cè)技術(shù)的基本內(nèi)容;第4章重點(diǎn)介紹當(dāng)前國內(nèi)外一些新的測(cè)量技術(shù)與方法。
每篇課文之后設(shè)置有詞匯表、注釋、練習(xí)和閱讀材料;每篇閱讀材料之后也設(shè)有詞匯表和注釋。全書后設(shè)有詞匯總表,并附有關(guān)于如何撰寫英文的學(xué)術(shù)論文、關(guān)于如何參加一次國際IEEE學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議、關(guān)于工程索引“EI”的介紹。
