《京劇——竇娥冤》：本書是“中國戲曲海外傳播工程叢書”中的一本，該系列以英文圖書的形式向海外讀者介紹中國戲曲文化，由多部經(jīng)典劇目構成。該劇展示了當時的下層人民任人宰割、有苦無處訴的悲慘處境，控訴了貪官草菅人命的黑暗現(xiàn)實，生動刻畫出竇娥這個女性形象。本書第一部分介紹劇本的內容概要、來龍去脈以及主創(chuàng)人員，第二部分是腳本，第三部分是附錄，主要是對京劇劇種的簡要介紹。

韓愛果，美國賓西法尼亞州立印第安那大學語言與思辨學博士。任教于新澤西州羅文大學寫作藝術系，主講英語寫作藝術和中國語言文化，開辦科學認知和創(chuàng)新思維的系列講座。研究領域為寫作藝術教學、認知思辨與道家哲學。專著論文主要涵蓋認知思辨、社會價值體系、領導藝術和東西方思想文化交流。多次應邀在中國和美國大學舉辦中國傳統(tǒng)哲學思想的專題講座。
